This Saturday, January 3, 2009 we will have special guest Val Decker. Also, Kevin McCullough will join us to talk about his recent Townhall.com column, Why Civil Defiance Is Sometimes Right.
Val Decker recently made news regarding her son, Landon where we learned what it means to love unconditionally.
From the article, A Mothers Vigil :
Her little boy doesn't run. He doesn't play. He brings no report cards home from school, nor breathless tales of adventure played out across the landscape of a child's day. For most of his eight-plus years, Landon Decker has simply laid in his bed, every moment of every day, tethered to a ventilator, his eyes never blinking, never closing.
It's been that way since January 2001, when Val Decker's 7 1/2-month-old son shoved a piece of plastic into his mouth, choked on it and cut off the oxygen to his brain.
"Some people see him as a burden. They say his life isn't worth anything," says Val. "But I see him as a blessing."
So join us this Saturday at 3 PM, ET on Talk Radio 860 WGUL for America's Lifeline!
America's Lifeline is hosted by Sheila Liaugminas, former Time magazine reporter and a previous host on the popular radio show The Right Questions and Issues and Answers on Relevant Radio. The program will be co-hosted by Bobby Schindler and Suzanne Vitadamo, directors of Terri's Foundation and brother and sister of Terri Schiavo.
