My dear friends and fellow stalwarts in the struggle to end America’s war on children,
As we approach the 41st anniversary of the United States Supreme Court decision on abortion—-January 22, the blackest day in this nation’s history—-there will be rallies, marches, speeches, and the celebration of Holy Mass all across our nation. Many of us will attend these events and we will be heartened to see the thousands who join with us in our quest to end all abortion.
In addition, each of us can say this 9-day novena for the express purpose of asking Our Lord to be with us, to be with this nation, and to cure the moral relativism that has so infected America that few these days see anything wrong with the “abortion issue.”
Abortion is a grievous act that kills a human being. Only through our vigilance, our prayers, and our commitment to never give up can this struggle be continued and ultimately won. Please join me in praying for that day by saying this Novena to End Abortion:
O Lord, we come to you today in sorrow upon realizing that more than 55 million human beings have died from surgical abortion alone. At this grave hour we recommit ourselves to strive harder than ever before to end the slaughter of your children—-be it surgical, or through IVF, chemical contraceptives, or IUDs. We ask Our Lady of Life to intercede for us. We ask all the angels and saints to pray for us that we might have the courage to press on, to defend the innocent, and to never tire of serving our Lord and King, Jesus Christ. Amen.
