Man Who Killed His Unborn Child By Tricking Girlfriend Into Taking Abortion Drug Gets 14 Years
John Andrew Welden is heading to prison for 14 years after he tricked
his pregnant girlfriend, Remee Lee, into taking a drug, misoprostol, to
cause an abortion. Lee was six weeks pregnant and refused to have an
abortion as Welden had demanded.
Authorities say that 28-year-old John Andrew Welden did not want to be a father, so when his girlfriend, Remee Jo Lee, got pregnant, Welden faked a prescription for an abortion pill, switched a label so the medication appeared to be a common antibiotic, and gave her the drug. Texas hospital decided not to appeal a judge’s decision late Friday to
allow a husband’s bid to remove his “brain dead” pregnant wife from life
support, an action that would end the life of his own unborn child.
Following the decision, Marlise Muñoz, 33, was taken off machines at a Fort Worth hospital about 11:30 a.m. Sunday and her body was released to her husband, Erick Muñoz. The husband’s attorney released a statement saying the family “will now proceed with the somber task of laying Marlise Muñoz’s body to rest, and grieving over the great loss that has been suffered.” Erick Munoz’s statement made no mention of his unborn child, who has now died as a result of removing Marlise from life support. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/

life of a 23 week-old fetus was aborted in the state of Texas
yesterday, and ironically, the child’s mother wasn’t involved in the
choice. In fact, had her mother still been conscious, a newly passed
Texas law prohibiting the abortion of pain-conscious fetuses (beyond 20
weeks gestation) would’ve protected her life today.
But Baby Munoz was
not your average “unwanted” fetus. Neither was the pregnancy that

60,000 Pro-Lifers Line the Streets of San Francisco During West Coast Walk for Life
Some
60,000 pro-life people lined the streets of San Francisco on Saturday
for the West Coast Walk for Life — a way for pro-life Americans in the
western United States to show their opposition to abortion.
Starting in 2005,
with 7,500 participants the Walk has grown in both attendance and
diversity each year, until it is now the second largest pro-life event
in the United States. Last year’s attendance was estimated as high as

sexual relations multiple times. Natisha Hillard, 25, pleaded guilty in
