Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Abortifacient birth control Ella® rolled out; Planned Parenthood integral in developing the deadly concoction

As Christians throughout the world await the coming of the Baby Jesus during this advent season, Planned Parenthood bragged about its integral role in developing the just released lethal concoction, ulipristal, known in the U.S. as Ella®.
Dr. Donna Harrison spoke on behalf of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists at the FDA hearing on the Ella® New Drug Application in June of this year. She pointed out that ulipristal is toxic to embryos at low doses.
Marketed by Watson Pharmaceuticals as emergency contraception, the drug is recommended for use up to five days after intercourse, and can be detected in reproductive tissues up to 14 days after administration.
Ulipristal acetate blocks progesterone, a hormone necessary for maintaining pregnancy.
"It is predictable that progesterone blockade will have profound embryolethal and developmental effects on the embryo fetus exposed to ulipristal," Dr. Harrison said.
"Ulipristal's embryolethal and fetocidal action is identical to mifepristone (RU-486), from which ulipristal is derived," Dr. Harrision continued. "Both act at the level of the ovary-inhibiting granulosa cell production of progesterone needed to maintain pregnancy through the first 10 weeks of gestation. Both also directly block progesterone receptors at endometrial glands and stroma, destroying maternal placental tissues," she testified.
A total of 17 Planned Parenthood facilities participated in the clinical trial of this drug (code name CDB-2914) as STOPP first revealed in September, 2009 in our report: A Review of Planned Parenthood Clinical Trials.

Women are being deprived of the knowledge of the toxic effect of this drug to the developing child, and the fact that it caused abortions in animal trials. They are not being apprised of the possibility of birth defects in children exposed to the drug. In fact, the FDA declined to require testing on the possibility of birth defects to go forward before approving the drug.

Planned Parenthood targeting Philippines with "lethal injection to its soul"

Planned Parenthood and its cronies are targeting the thoroughly Catholic population of the Philippines, through the "Reproductive Health" (RH) bill, which provides for the universal distribution of all methods of birth control, including abortifacient pills, injections, and IUDs. If passed it will undoubtedly lead to the guarantee of abortion on demand.
Though Planned Parenthood and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) have been pushing their agenda in the Philippines for more than a decade, the current president, Benigno Aquino III, is the first president of the Philippines willing to set his Catholic faith aside and embrace the bill, signaling dire danger for the people of the Philippines, with pro-abortion forces predicting legalized abortion there in less than three years.
Using foreign funding as leverage, the UNFPA delivered $26 million to advance its agenda in the Philippines as of October 2008.
The bill follows International Planned Parenthood Federation's game plan set out in its declaration of sexual rights, requiring mandatory sex education for children in fifth grade and up, and imposing heavy fines on Catholic and other hospital personnel who refuse to distribute contraception or participate in sterilizations.
In an attempt to silence all opposition, the bill also provides jail time for those who give "malicious disinformation" about it.
"In other words, the RH Bill is a complete package designed to integrate the anti-life mentality into the fabric of the nation. It is plainly a 'lethal injection' to the soul of the Philippines, as the European experience has shown us," said Dr. Brian Clowes, director of research and training for Human Life International.

The Catholic Church in the Philippines is mounting a massive defense against the bill. Please pray fervently that the Church will be successful in its fight against this atrocity.

Michigan pro-lifers organizing to oppose Planned Parenthood mega center in Auburn Hills

Planned Parenthood of Mid and South Michigan has purchased a 17,050 square foot building in Auburn, MI, scheduled to open in May or June of next year, fulfilling the affiliate's promise in April of this year to open an abortion facility to take advantage of the increased demand for abortion created by ObamaCare.
"An early sign of health care reform's impact is Planned Parenthood's decision to open a new Oakland County clinic within the next 18 months, adding to 15 locations, including Detroit, Warren and Livonia," said newswriter Laura Berman. "Unlike other Detroit area centers, the new location is likely to include abortion services... and other reproductive services - [for] what [Planned Parenthood's director] Lamerand calls 'an onslaught' of women poised to gain new access to reproductive health care." Bringing Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary: Planned Parenthood vs. the Mother of God
I recently caught Fr. John Corapi's amazing talk on humility on EWTN radio. It left an indelible impression on me, and set me to thinking about pride vs. humility and therefore Planned Parenthood vs. Mary the Mother of God.
Pride: Lucifer was the greatest of all the angels. He possessed the greatest intellect, was the most beautiful, and the most powerful. But he got caught up in himself. Church tradition which has come down from the saints and the great doctors of the Church tells us that when Lucifer learned God would take the form of man, he declared in anger: "I will not serve!" His arrogant pride led to disobedience, which led to his expulsion from heaven into eternal damnation.
Adam took a similar fall. He was tricked by Satan and wanted to ascend to the level of God. His pride led to disobedience, which led to sin and death -- the fall of Man.
Planned Parenthood and other minions of the Culture of Death make the same fatal mistake. They possess great wealth and positions of power, authority and importance in today's society. They express that they are like God by manufacturing their own 'truths,' and ultimately setting themselves up as the arbiters of who will live and who will die. In their arrogance, they bring physical death to the pre-born children they kill, spiritual death to the hearts and souls of our young people, and decay and the guilt and stench of death to our society.
Humility: Mary, on the other hand, is the perfect example of humility, which is the opposite of pride. Mary was preserved from the sin of Adam at her Immaculate Conception, which we celebrate today. Then, some fifteen years later she was approached by the angel Gabriel announcing she had been chosen from all women to bear the Son of God. Though she was greatly troubled by the angel's visit, she did not say, "I will not serve!" She humbly answered, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word." Her humility led to obedience, which led to life and the redemption of mankind. Her humble fiat was, in fact, the remedy to Adam's sin and the fall of Man.
The Mother of God wins! Though Planned Parenthood may appear in its own eyes to be the all-powerful arbiter of truth and even life and death, in the battle between the abortion profiteer and the Mother of God, Mary wins hands down! She brings the remedy for Planned Parenthood's devastating impact on our society.
Take Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary this advent. When Mary took Jesus in her womb as she went in haste to help her pregnant cousin Elizabeth, John the Baptist leapt in Elizabeth's womb because he recognized he was in the presence of God. So, too, when we take Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary, the babies that are headed for slaughter must leap in their mothers' wombs because they, like John the Baptist, can sense they are in the presence of the Lord. And that tiny leap can pave the way for the mother's repentance and acceptance of her child.

That we could be God's humble instruments in bringing Jesus through Mary to those who are being led to slaughter is a privilege of the greatest magnitude. May God richly bless you as you continue your humble service to bring Life to the world!

Baby Jesus sonogram billboard near Wisconsin Planned Parenthood brings home humanity of preborn at Christmas time

Pro-Life Wisconsin, an American Life League Associate group, has placed a billboard in La Crosse near the Planned Parenthood facility on Caledonia Street. The billboard features an ultrasound image of Baby Jesus, with a halo and the words "He's on His way... Christmas starts with Christ."
"Christmas is the perfect opportunity to connect the Baby Jesus we know with the preborn baby Jesus," said Virginia Zignego, communications director of Pro-Life Wisconsin. "We hope this will lead people to see the preborn as babies deserving of the right to life."
A second billboard is located at the intersection of 4th St. and Cameron Ave.
The image on the billboards placed by Pro-Life Wisconsin is compliments of ChurchAds, a Christian nonprofit in England, dedicated to the idea of keeping Christ in Christmas. The image is available free of charge for downloading and use on the ChurchAds website.
