'THE PILL KILLS MARRIAGE' SEMINAR ON JUNE 4 IN DALLAS, TEXAS | | "The Pill Kills Marriage" is the theme of an exciting, inspirational and educational seminar to be presented by ALL's Stop Planned Parenthood International (STOPP) and ALL Associate group STOPP of Dallas on June 4. Keynoting the seminar will be internationally renowned Humanae Vitae speaker, Fr. Daniel McCaffrey. His ability to explain God's plan for joyful, fulfilled marriage is unsurpassed. He is a priest of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, has worked in the Apostolate of Family Enrichment and currently heads the Natural Family Planning Outreach in Oklahoma City. Joining Fr. McCaffrey will be Deacon Rick Condon and his wife, Jenny. The couple developed "Life & Love in the 21st Century," a parish mission that immerses couples in the culture of life. HEADLINES | | Is the gravy train derailing? World Net Daily Currently, Planned Parenthood gorges at the public trough to the tune of about $1 million a day in federal funding. On top of that is the untold amount of money it extorts from state and local governments. Pouring tax dollars into this corrupt organization is a scandal that has been going on for decades. But now, legislators all across the country are looking at the possibility of taking this money away. In response, Planned Parenthood, working in concert with its legion of toadies in the media, is squealing like pigs stuck under a fence. | Birth control pills face safety review The Wall Street Journal The Food and Drug Administration said Tuesday it is conducting a safety review of certain types of birth-control pills to see if they increase the risk of blood clots beyond that of other pills. The agency said the review is focusing on products that contain drospirenone, which is used in pills including Yaz and Yasmin, which are marketed Bayer AG. Drospirenone is a type of female sex hormone called a progestin. Most birth-control pills contain two types of hormones, estrogen and progestin. All types of pills increase the risk of blood clots. However, the FDA said two recently published studies reported a greater risk of blood clots for women taking birth-control pills containing drospirenone, compared to birth-control pills containing another progestin known as levonorgestrel. | Dr. Damon Noto on stem cell surgery: "You've just seen the tip of the iceberg here. Sports Radio Interviews Dr. Damon Noto is one of five doctors in the United State that performs the surgery that Yankees right-hander Bartolo Colon underwent last offseason to repair damaged ligaments and a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder. Bartolo Colon is the first professional athlete in the public eye to undergo stem cell surgery where fat was taken from his body and spun down into stem cells and then re-injected back into the injured area of his shoulder to help induce recovery and strengthen his arm once again.
