St. Louis, MO, Planned Parenthood abortion mill claims another victim On May 25, the Planned Parenthood abortion mill at 4251 Forest Park Blvd. in Saint Louis called another ambulance to its facility. That makes at least three ambulance visits to the Planned Parenthood center this year alone, according to Mary Maschmeier, Director of Defenders of the Unborn, an American Life League associate group. The group maintains a "Constant Witness" vigil outside the facility Tuesday through Saturday of every week. Visit their website at www.stl-defenders.com to get involved. Planned Parenthood abortions may be decriminalized, but they are certainly not safe for the baby or the mother. How long will our tax dollars continue to support this organization that killed over 323,278 innocent children in 2009 and injured an untold number of women? It is time to defund Planned Parenthood now. Visit our website, www.stopp.org, for information on defunding Planned Parenthood and getting the abortion giant out of your community. |
Planned Parenthood targets tornado victimsIn the aftermath of a devastating tornado that ripped through Joplin, MO, last week leaving indescribable death and destruction in its wake, Planned Parenthood has stepped up to offer more death and destruction, as its way of comforting the afflicted. The Joplin PP facility, which features first among its offerings abortion referrals and the morning after regimen that targets newly created children, is advertising that it will provide free of charge "a variety of health services for both men and women (including) distribution of free reproductive medications ... and other reproductive health services" for victims of the tornado which devastated the community and took at least 139 lives. Planned Parenthood, with its apparently insatiable thirst for innocent blood, took over 885 lives per day in the U.S. by abortion during its latest reporting period. Our hearts and prayers go out to the people of Joplin, who need food, homes, prayers, love and hope to rebuild their lives, not contraception and abortion referrals. Let us renew our pledge to stop Planned Parenthood's obscene, deadly advance on our society. We have expert speakers available to assist you in getting Planned Parenthood out of your community. Columbus, Ohio protesting the pillIn Columbus, OH, Fr. Joseph Klee is spearheading The Pill Kills Marriage protest. He says in a recent email to supporters: Saturday, June 4th ALL (American Life League) is sponsoring its annual campaign entitled "The Pill Kills" - a consciousness-raising initiative to inform people of the destructive nature of the Oral Contraceptive (OC) pill. It not only kills marriages (through an implicit promotion of selfishness in couples), but is increasingly seen to harm the woman's body (causing cancers, blood clots, etc.). All of this is dwarfed by the damage done spiritually too, of course - contraceptive use is a Mortal Sin, and thus kills the life of grace in the soul of its user. [We] plan to be a presence for a couple of hours (9 - 11 a.m., or so), at a site in the Columbus area - probably the CVS store on the OSU campus area, as that is where many young women-students go to buy their OC's. We would remain on the public sidewalk, so there would be no "trespassing" issues. I will have a limited number of the hand-held "The Pill Kills" signs, and pamphlets explaining the harmful effects of the OC pill. Please see www.thepillkills.com for further information on this noble national campaign!! Stay tuned for details - hope to see ya there!! You can contact Fr. Klee for details at this link. He will be joined by members of ALL associate group Pharmacists for Life International, co-sponsors of the national Pill Kills Marriage protest. If you are looking for a group near you that is protesting, or if you are spearheading a local protest, please contact protests@all.org. Bringing Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary: She gave birth to her Maker "Blessed are you, Virgin Mary, who carried the creator of all things in your womb; you gave birth to your Maker, and remain forever a virgin." - Entrance song for the VisitationThe mysteries of our faith are strikingly profound. The entrance song for The Visitation, which we celebrated yesterday, enunciates the profound: Mary gave birth to her Maker. In our campaign to bring Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary, we recognize that every child is made in the image and likeness of God, and that every woman who is pregnant carries the image of her Maker in her womb. When those children are destroyed, God is hurt and mankind is hurt beyond our ability to understand. Each of His children is precious and unrepeatable, and has a unique place in salvation history. When we bring Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary, we too become bearers of our Maker, as we ask the ever-virgin Mother of God to bring an end to Planned Parenthood and the culture of death. Our pleas will not go unanswered. Please join us in renewing the Consecration of the fight against Planned Parenthood to Jesus through Mary on June 4 during The Pill Kills nationwide protest. The prayer of consecration, as well as the Prayer at the Planned Parenthood Facility can be found on our website. |
Good news from Missouri: A child is saved from Planned Parenthood With all the bad news coming out of Missouri, St. Louis Defenders of the Unborn sends some good news as well. Their simple offer of help saved a baby at the same Planned Parenthood in St. Louis where 3 ambulances have hauled abortion patients away this year. On May 24, the abortion-bound woman was approached by Defenders who are part of the Constant Witness program. She graciously accepted their offer of help. They remain in contact with her to provide the assistance she needs to bring her baby to term. Praise God for the good people who stand outside Planned Parenthood day in and day out to be a voice for the voiceless, and a helping hand to those in crisis. |
