For those in the Eastern US region, there are only 8 days left until our first ever gala. Please register to come and join the LifeSiteNews family, Abbey Johnson and many very special guests next Saturday, the 28th. Dr. Joel Brind of the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer is the latest VIP to confirm.

It is encouraging to see increasing numbers of leaders giving blunt public warnings about the grave threats to our culture and our freedoms. Finally, they are starting to accept what we have been writing about for years. Carl Anderson, however, has been outspoken many times, but still, his latest warning reported today is very necessary.

Many who have been long aware of the insanity that has been going on within North American Catholic religious orders breathed a sigh of relief today that the Vatican is in fact well aware of the dire situation and finally taking action. Recently, it appeared that the Vatican visitation of the orders had ended up a dismal farce, neutralized by dissident nuns with the help of liberal Vatican accomplices. Looks like Benedict has taken corrective action once again.

For those who love to own first class original artwork, today we began to offer all our readers a chance to both acquire some impressive original paintings and support LifeSiteNews at the same time. To see these items in person, come to our Washington gala. But for all those who cannot attend, we are still allowing you a special opportunity to take part in the bidding process. See the special email that was sent out today and plunge in if your interests and circumstances permit. This is another way of supporting a culture of life.

Also, if you know others who would likely be interested in bidding on these excellent pieces, encourage them to take part in the LifeSiteNews auction. They may really thank you for telling them about it.
