New Planned Parenthood Statement Defends Pro-Infanticide Remarks
The Florida affiliate of the Planned Parenthood abortion business has released a new statement defending the remarks its lobbyist made that drew national condemnation for essentially endorsing infanticide.
The pro-life bill, HB 1129, ultimately cleared the House Criminal justice Subcommittee. The bill would require that medical care be given to newborns, likely to be premature, who survive botched abortions. MSNBC guest Melissa Harris-Perry upset pro-life advocates recently when she talked about how much it costs “to have this thing turn into a human” when referring to an unborn baby. Over Easter weekend, she did it again.

A Reuters news article that was written by Anthony Boadle and published on March 28 has reported that Dr. Virginia Soares de Souza has been charged with 7 counts of murder and may have killed 300 patients in order to, reportedly, “free-up” beds. (Doesn’t that sound familier) It has been suggested that de Souza could be one of the world’s worst serial killers.
Several years ago I heard a talk by a Dutch physician who did euthanasia. He referred to the patients who were nearing death, but not dying quickly, as “bed blockers.” I was shocked that he suggested, so plainly, how euthanasia was solving the problem of the “bed blocker”. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

A courageous young man from Oregon made history with the first recorded account of an American teenager with Down syndrome to reach a base camp of Mt. Everest. After nearly two weeks of walking, 15-year old Eli Reimer reached 17,600 feet. Eli’s father, Justin, joined his son for the ascent in an effort to raise funds for their family’s charity, The Elisha Foundation.
“It was surreal,” Justin Reimer told HLN in an interview. “To be standing there at that place and see the smile on Eli’s face and the sense of accomplishment that he had, and the fact that his health was better than any of us at that point… it was humbling, it was inspiring, just an amazing moment.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
