In this week’s Gospel reading we hear about Bartimaeus, a blind man sitting on the roadside. He cries out to Jesus for pity.
“Master, I want to see,” he says. Jesus replies, “Your faith has saved you” and Bartimaeus receives his sight.
As we approach All Souls' Day on November 2nd, we remember
all those who have gone before us. We mourn the loss of their presence
in our lives, but we rejoice because we know that in God’s love, they
too have been saved. I hope you will join with CMMB in praying for our
faithful departed. Please send us your prayer requests so that together
we can pray for those we have lost. It would be our honor to pray for
your intentions.
