"When it doesn't rain, we have nothing to eat"

"When it doesn't rain, we have no crops to sell, and we have nothing to eat. There is no money to buy food."

Mania Cleossaint, Côtes-de-Fer, Haiti

In one of the poorest areas of rural Haiti, after three years of consecutive drought, there is not enough food. Last summer, Mania Cleossaint and her five children went hungry.

CMMB protects children from malnutrition by performing regular medical check-ups, building family gardens, providing livestock, and teaching families to care for their animals and gardens.
