WHAT:
Pro-life activists from around the Midwest will gather for a press conference, prayer and protest this Thursday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to counter the presence of Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards and the 30th Anniversary of Planned Parenthood of East Central Iowa. At the rally, pro-lifers will be collecting baby goods to donate to local crisis pregnancy centers.
"In the 30 years since Planned Parenthood of East Central Iowa was founded, 185,000 unborn Iowans have been killed by abortion, most by this Planned Parenthood facility," said Eric Scheidler, executive director of the Pro-Life Action League, who helped coordinate the day's events. "We want Cecile Richards and Planned Parenthood to know that abortion is nothing to celebrate."

Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
