When Lincoln Chafee was elected as the Governor of Rhode Island, and a small margin at that, he proclaimed that his first intention of putting same-sex marriage into law as one of his first acts as the Governor of Rhode Island. Yesterday, the Governor signed an executive order. I guess he feels empowered by Obama’s coming out party. Presidents, Governors, politicians come and go, but “we the people” are here to stay!
“PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Rhode Island’s governor on Monday declared [Politics is no longer about service, but power] that the state will recognize same-sex marriages performed elsewhere, giving gay couples the same rights as heterosexual ones when it comes to health insurance and a slew of other benefits. [So, when California or Massachusetts approves of bigamy or zoophilia, is the Governor going to give them full rights]
The order signed by Gov. Lincoln Chafee in a Statehouse ceremony directs state agencies to recognize marriages performed out of state as legal and treat same-sex married couples the same [we can pretend that same-sex couples are the same, but they will never be, no mater how much Dorothy clicks her heels] as heterosexual ones.”
Isn’t it interesting how they always force their liberal agendas on the people without bringing it to the people for a vote! You would think we were in a socialist regime – wait a minute, aren’t we?

Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
