Pro-Abortion “Catholic” Nancy Pelosi to Attend Pope Francis Inaugural
One of the least Catholic and most pro-abortion members of Congress, Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, has been added to the official U.S. delegation to attend the installation of newly-elected Pope Francis.
Pelosi will join pro-abortion Vice President Joe Biden to attend the Inauguration Mass celebrating the Pontificate of His Holiness Pope Francis, which will take place on March 19. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

During a speech at the conservative CPAC conference this morning, the Senate Republican leader said he would keep trying to repeal Obamacare. His comments come at a time when one report suggests Obamacare could double insurance premiums.

A last ditch effort by ambassadors and top UN officials failed last night to reach agreement on policies to end violence against women because powerful western developed countries want to scrap previous agreements that do not recognize abortion as a right.
A last ditch effort by ambassadors and top UN officials failed last night to reach agreement on policies to end violence against women because powerful western developed countries want to scrap previous agreements that do not recognize abortion as a right.
After four weeks of intense negotiations, ambassadors were brought in to negotiate the late night session. A Delaware Planned Parenthood clinic has experienced four botched abortion emergencies in less than five weeks and it is now coming under fire from pro-life advocates for recruiting medical students for abortion training.

North Dakota Senate OKs Pro-Life Bill Banning Most Abortions
The North Dakota state Senate today approved legislation that would have the state banning most all abortions. The measure stops any abortions after the first 6 weeks of pregnancy.
The legislation will not likely be upheld in court should it ultimately become law, but that hasn’t stopped legislators in North Dakota from pushing the measure as a possible test case in an attempt to overturn Roe. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

The health ministry in China released figures yesterday showing 336 million abortions have been carried out in the Asian nation since it first implemented the one-child population control policy.
Started in 1980, the policy, which prohibits most Chinese couples form having more than one baby and limits rural residents to two, has resulted in severe human rights abuses. Family planning officials frequently jail couples who refuse to comply, sentence them to house arrest or labor camps, revoke jobs or governmental support, use physical harassment or violence and often target other family members. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
