Our bishops need you now more than ever!
For far too long, so-called Catholic politicians have been scandalizing faithful Catholics and the Church itself by supporting intrinsic evils such as abortion, artificial contraception, and homosexual marriage. In the meantime, there has been little to no rebuke by the shepherds of the Church.
American Life League has launched PRAY AND FAST FOR OUR BISHOPS, a sacrificial campaign that invites faithful Catholics like you to pray and fast regularly in order to help provide our bishops with the strength and courage necessary to defend our faith against the deception, complacency, and sacrilege that threatens to devour innocent souls.
To aid in this campaign, ALL has created the websitewww.all.org/prayandfast. Here, Catholics are invited to regularly add their prayers and have them included on the site's prayer counter. The prayer counter provides a visual record to bishops of the amount of spiritual offerings from Catholics who register on the website.
Each week, PRAY AND FAST FOR OUR BISHOPSfeatures "This Week's Saintly Bishop"-a profile of a heroic bishop whose life resulted in canonization by the Church. These past saintly bishops exemplify the kind of bishops needed today to defend the Church against attacks on religious freedom, scandal, and heresy.
This week's saintly bishop is St. Eligius, Bishop of Noyon, who provides a universal example of apostolic zeal in the face of barbarism.
PRAY AND FAST FOR OUR BISHOPS also provides suggested prayers and ideas for fasting.
Please join us in ALL's PRAY AND FAST FOR OUR BISHOPS campaign at www.all.org/prayandfast. The princes of our Holy Roman Catholic Church-our bishops-need your spiritual support in great abundance.
In His grace,
Dwain Currier

Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
