              May 1st - 3rd Prayer Effort Seeks 1,000,000 Rosaries

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE  (March 2nd, 2009) - Any person who believes that a decisive pro-life victory for unborn babies is not possible is going to confront a very different message from the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization; namely,  " ...with God, all things are possible"(Mt. 19:26).  And, this Memphis-based Organization is not limiting itself to words.  It is also in the process of coordinating the 2nd annual ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event[May 1st(Friday), May 2nd(Saturday), and May 3rd(Sunday)].  A person wanting to participate in this prayer effort for unborn babies may do so by praying at least one Rosary in a church, at home, etc., for the following intention: For an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn human persons.

" The ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event is an opportunity for persons from around the earth to unite in a three-day spiritual battle against the gates of hell for the protection of unborn babies," stated Patrick Benedict, President of the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization.

A person who plans on praying the Rosary(May 1st - 3rd) as part of this much-needed pro-life effort is encouraged to register at the website www.SaintMichaelTheArchangelOrganization.org (A person may also let his intention be known by writing to P. O. Box 41257: Memphis, Tennessee 38174; U.S.A.)  A count of the number of Rosaries registered is being kept on the homepage of the same website.

The Saint Michael the Archangel Organization has received a number of encouraging emails, including:

     * A Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus registering over
       200 Rosaries;

     * A CCD class of 5th graders from Pennsylvania will be praying
       16 Rosaries;

     * From the Diocese of Buffalo, a husband and wife and their 4
       children will be praying a total of 18 Rosaries;

     * Rosaries are to be prayed in South Africa, Vietnam, Italy, England,
        U.S.A., Canada, etc.

Between now and May 1st, the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization is asking pro-lifers to give at least 15 minutes of their time to promote the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event.  Information about promoting the prayer event, including a Bulletin Announcement and an "Information Page/Bulletin Insert", is available by writing to the address above or by going to www.SaintMichaelTheArchangelOrganization.org.   It is hoped a great number of schools, parishes, organizations, prayer groups, etc. will be contacted and encouraged to be a part of the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event.(The Friday, May 1st date is especially intended for students to pray the Rosary together at schools, and the Sunday, May 3rd date is especially intended for people to pray the Rosary either before or after Masses.)

Last year's ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event received the support of many, including Francis Cardinal Arinze, Archbishop Raymond L. Burke, and Mother Assumpta. (It is not known whether or not the goal of one million Rosaries was reached for the 2008 prayer event.)

On February 27th, 2009, the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization sent out a mailing to more than 200 bishops, archbishops, and cardinals in the United States asking them to participate in the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event.  These bishops, archbishops, and cardinals were also asked to promote this prayer effort to priests so the priests may: 1) be participants; and, 2)  promote this Rosary effort to others.
