PHILADELPHIA, Pa., May 1, 2012 / -- The Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network is pleased to announce that it has moved its headquarters to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Terri’s Life & Hope Network selected Philadelphia because of its proximity to New York and the Washington DC area. More importantly, it is where the Schindler family lived for over 22 years and has an extensive network of friends and supporters that will aid the organization in their fight to save the lives of those in situations similar to Terri Schiavo.

"This is an exciting move for Terri's Life & Hope Network," commented Bobby Schindler, Executive Director. Schindler went on to say, "The new location underscores our organization's dedication to our most vulnerable and our commitment to have a stronger presence fighting this culture of death virus plaguing our nation."

Philadelphia is also where Terri’s Life & Hope Network plans to establish the first Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network Rehabilitation Center. This will be a state of the art facility that provides rehabilitation and therapy services to those with cognitive disabilities.

The Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network, a 501(c)(3) organization, was originally established in 2005 and based in St. Petersburg, Florida. The experience the Schindler family endured in their battle to save their daughter and sister, Terri Schiavo, led them to devote themselves full-time to assisting vulnerable persons threatened by euthanasia. Since the inception of Terri's Life & Hope Network, the organization has been contacted by more than 1,000 families seeking assistance and support and has been involved in hundreds of cases to help those facing similar situations as Terri did.
