Will the feds investigate 'Abortions R Us'?
One News Now
Dozens of Republicans in the House and Senate are calling on the General Accounting Office to examine how Planned Parenthood uses taxpayers' money. The lawmakers claim the abortion provider focuses more on providing that deadly option than on providing actual health services for indigent women. The 72 members of Congress who are calling for the probe point out that Planned Parenthood's latest stats show an increase in abortions and a decrease in real health services. Paul Rondeau of the American Life League (ALL) spoke with American Family News about the alleged misuse of federal monies and what his group sees as Planned Parenthood's primary target: minorities, especially the black community. "Planned Parenthood is nothing but the leader in the sex industry. They're not about reproductive----quote, unquote----'health,'" argues Rondeau. "They're not about women's rights. They're not about anything except making money and----as their founder Margaret Sanger said----eliminating the 'weeds' of society." Rondeau says the call for a federal probe is no surprise to anyone who wants to know the truth about Planned Parenthood.

Windy city blows away parents with sex ed plan
Family Research Council Washington Update
Kindergarteners are usually worried about catching cooties----not Chlamydia----but that hasn't stopped the City of Chicago from considering a full-blown sex education curriculum for kids as young as five! The plan, presented last night at the city's Board of Education meeting, would make Chicago the first U.S. school district with a minimum number of sex ed minutes and a curriculum for every grade level. Stephanie Whyte, Chicago's chief health officer, explained that in addition to lessons on puberty, STDs, and contraception, the program would include conversations about homosexuality, transgenderism, and bullying.

Mother Teresa's 'abortion has become the greatest destroyer of peace' interview now online
Live Action News
Mother Teresa's notable interview with Thom O'Connor is now available for viewing on YouTube. In this interview, Mother Teresa affirms the dignity of life, explaining that this dignity comes from the fact that every person is made in the image of God. The video then segues into an interview that Mother Teresa granted to news reporter Russell Barber. Despite its poor quality, the interviews in the video are real gems and worth passing on to the next generation of pro-life advocates.
