Chinese doctor has admitted in court that she stole babies from the
hospital where she worked and sold them to human traffickers, state
media and a court said.

Italy's
highest court has overturned the conviction of a 60-year-old man for
having sex with an 11-year-old girl, because the verdict failed to take
into account their "amorous relationship".

Justice
Sonia Sotomayor’s two-sentence order will last at least until Jan. 3,
the deadline she gave the administration to respond to a bid by the
Denver and Baltimore chapters of the Little Sisters of the Poor for an
exemption to the contraception mandate. The Supreme Court released the
order last night, a half hour before the mandate took effect.

Students
in grades K-12 who identify as transgender will be able to use the
school bathrooms of their choosing as long as it is “consistent with
their gender identity,” even if it is different than their gender at
birth.
