A leading pediatrician says
that Jahi McMath, who is at the center of a national debate about whether
she should remain on life support, is not “brain dead” and can
recover with proper care and nutrition. Late Monday afternoon, the judge
in the case granted an extension for life support after a legal request
from her family’s attorney.
Dr. Paul A. Byrne, a Neonatologist who is the Director of Neonatology and Director of Pediatrics at St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Oregon, Ohio, has given a new interview to a local NBC television station. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

that will provide her care.

Court: Obama Admin Can’t Make Pro-Life Group Pay Fines for Not Obeying HHS Mandate
In a huge victory
for Priests for Life, a pro-life organization, a federal appeals court has
issued a ruling saying it doesn’t have to pay massive fines to the
federal government for not obeying the HHS mandate, which forces religious
groups and companies to pay for birth control or abortion-causing drugs
for their employees.

In a huge victory
for Priests for Life, a pro-life organization, a federal appeals court has
issued a ruling saying it doesn’t have to pay massive fines to the
federal government for not obeying the HHS mandate, which forces religious
groups and companies to pay for birth control or abortion-causing drugs
for their employees.
An emergency injunction
granted late this afternoon in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit
means that Priests for Life will not have to obey the contraception mandate
contained in the Affordable Care Act as its appeal is being heard. It also
means that, tomorrow, Priests for Life will not have to cancel health insurance

Couple Keeps Baby This Time
Shannon
Skinner had an abortion when she was eight weeks pregnant, or so she thought.
She already had a four-month-old baby and she and partner Anthony were “having
problems” so they decided abortion was the best answer as opposed to
a second baby.
But after the abortion, Skinner
continued to have morning sickness and to feel the unborn baby’s movements.
After consulting a physician, she received word that the movements were

medical director of an abortion clinic whose name was given as Zlata. Although
she had been so committed to abortion that she worked in the clinic for six
years, Zlata now considers herself pro-life. She tells her story:

in particular, in the operating room at the clinic where I had been a medical
assistant for six years. I was standing behind the doctor and could see everything
as he was performing an abortion on a woman who was 20 – 22 weeks pregnant.”
