ST. PETERSBURG, April 16, 2012 / -- The Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network is unyielding in speaking out on behalf of others with cognitive disabilities whose lives are threatened by a culture of death attitude. Indeed, it is because of this mentality that their fight continues to protect the nation’s most vulnerable brothers and sisters.

To help in this battle, the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network is delighted to announce the addition of Dr. Mark Mostert to Terri’s Life & Hope Network team. Dr. Mostert has accepted a position as a Board of Director as well as agreeing to contribute a monthly article discussing the increasing threat of euthanasia facing our nation.

To have Dr. Mostert join us in this daily fight to protect the growing number of defenseless American citizens is a true blessing, stated Bobby Schindler, Executive Director of Terri’s Life & Hope Network. Dr. Mostert’s expertise and passion for this issue is extraordinary and he has dedicated his life to educating the public regarding a dangerous medical ethics movement targeting our medically vulnerable, noted Schindler.

Dr. Mostert brings years of experience with him as the President of Disability Consultants International and is recognized nationally and internationally as an expert on disability issues, appearing regularly on radio and television. He has also been published about disability and bioethical issues in the Chicago TribuneUSA Today, theConservative Voice, and the American Thinker, as well as having been quoted extensively in major publication nationally and internationally.

Dr. Mostert is a consult on disability issues at the United Nations, and has recently delivered an invited address at an international human rights conference in Kigali, Rwanda. He was an invited delegate to the US launch of the World Report on Disability in Washington, DC. and also serves as a board member of the Educator’s Educators Institute on Human Rights.
