A man in Washington state took a 14-year-old girl to a Planned Parenthood clinic for an abortion to cover up his sexual assault on the teenage girl. The abortion business apparently did the abortion without hesitation.
According to the Bellingham Herald: A Washington State man who impregnated a preteen girl and forced her to have an abortion must serve a six-year prison sentence, then leave the country. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
By now, most people have heard about the allegations that came out about Dr. Douglas Karpen. Four former clinic workers are alleging that he killed babies that were born alive as often as several times a day. What you may not know is that this is not the first time former clinic workers have come forth with accusations of infanticide.
In taped testimony for the Pro-Life Action League, which can be read in its entirety here, former clinic worker Joy Davis tells a harrowing story of working with former abortionist Dr. Tommy Tucker. Tommy Tucker lost his license after an investigation into the death of a woman at his clinic. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
If the Watergate scandal went down as one of the worst in history, the recently revealed series of government abuses nicknamed IRSGate is on its way to becoming just as infamous, as details of rampant targeting and harassment of American entities (run, of course, by American citizens), based purely on the organizations or citizens political views, continues to emerge.
As the trial of Kermit Gosnell exposed to the world the evil, ugly, and indefensible truth of Big Abortion, Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America (formerly National Abortion Rights Action League) were quick to throw him under the bus, applauding his conviction and implausibly blaming the pro-life community for Gosnells house of horrors.
But that moment of sanity by Americas biggest proponents of abortion wont stop them from defending the gruesome practice of abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
This is so incredibly sad for so many reasons. There is really nothing else to say. (I have already expressed my concerns about uterine transplants here.)
From the UKs Daily Mail: A woman who was the first to have a successful womb transplant from a dead donor has had her pregnancy terminated after the embryo showed no heartbeat, doctors in Turkey have said. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Group That Failed to Report Kermit Gosnell Blames Pro-Lifers
According to Vicki Saporta, president of the National Abortion Federation, the abortion stigma is to blame for Kermit Gosnells now-notorious house of horrors.
In a rather weak column for USA Today, Saporta tries to claim that abortion is totally safe and that Kermit Gosnell is just an aberration, an anomaly. If only those icky pro-lifers would stop trying to save those ridiculous babies, Kermit Gosnell wouldnt have existed! http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
As I reached out to take a bright yellow balloon with the bold word LIFE stamped across it, I was struck by the monumental significance of the event we were celebrating. A crowd of about 120 people, adults and children alike, was gathered on the grassy lawn behind a gray, dismal, not too imposing-looking building the kind of building that usually wouldnt merit a second glance. But we were there on that beautiful spring day, May 11, for good reason a blessed kind of reason. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
I will be participating in the Step Forward for Orphans March to bring awareness to the more than 10 million children around the world who live outside a family setting, in an institution, or even on the street. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Group Tells Women to Lie to Family Members to Get Money for Abortion
If you dont work in policy or the pro-life movement, or if youre not particularly passionate about the issue of abortion, you may never have heard of the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits the use of federal funds for abortions (with the usual exceptions of cases of rape or incest or where a mothers life is at risk). http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Man Indicted Under Unborn Victims Law for Killing His Unborn Child
History may have been made last week when federal prosecutors used the Unborn Victims of Violence Act (UVVA) to indict a man who is alleged to have killed his own unborn child. It is quite likely that this is the first use of the UVVA. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
The following is a collection of brief write-ups from Wesley J. Smith on how media and scientists are obfuscating the cloning issue by claiming somatic cell nuclear transfer is not human cloning. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Houston Mayor Annise Parker is up for re-election and voters in southeast Texas should look elsewhere for someone to run the city. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
This is a clip from an episode of Life Report called Local Experts Clarify Domestic and International Adoption. In this episode I interviewed Stephanie Grant, Executive Director of Infant of Prague Adoption Services, and Laurel Boylan, Founder of Gods Waiting Children. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Thousands of Catholic students and parents are urging Boston College a Catholic institution to rescind its invitation to Irish Prime Minister, Enda Kenny, who is slated to receive an honorary degree and deliver commencement remarks on May 20. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
