From Created Equal: The Dream . . .

Columbus, OH – August 19, 2013 – On August 24, 2013, Created Equal will be assisting an outreach team in Washington, DC to raise awareness on abortion during the annual March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.  This year is the 50th anniversary of the March and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream" address.  Several organizations will come together to distribute information to marchers as they pass by on the March route.  Created Equal's powerful brochure will be handed out.
MLK Jr.'s dream was our founding father's dream for America and it is the pro-life movement's dream for America: that all men – black or white, born or preborn deserve the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Sadly, even though there has been significant progress made on behalf of the rights of African-Americans, the dream has not been fulfilled because babies continue to die.  As we seek to create a more perfect union by fighting racial discrimination, we must also continue to seek to end discrimination based on age–abortion.
