Victory: A Record 87 Abortion Clinics Closed in 2013
Operation Rescue has concluded
an exhaustive survey of abortion clinics in the U.S. and is pleased to
announce that it has documented a record number of abortion clinic closures
in 2013, during which time 87 surgical abortion clinics halted abortions.
The total number of surgical abortion clinics left in the U.S. is now 582. This represents an impressive 12% net decrease in surgical abortion clinics in 2013 alone, and a 73% drop from a high in 1991 of 2,176. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

he made about moral issues in an interview with GQ magazine that has caused
a national and international furor. TV network A&E suspended Robertson
from the show over the comments.
Robertson talked about sexual purity in the interview, saying, “Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong… Sin becomes fine. Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there… Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/

Marlise Munoz collapsed
and permanently lost consciousness. Previously, she informed her family
that she wouldn’t want to be kept alive in such circumstances and,
normally, the family would have the say in ending life support and Munoz’s
life would be ended.

and officials from the Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland
were in a tense battle over the family’s determination to keep her
on a ventilator and to obtain a second independent opinion whether Jahi
was indeed “brain dead” following a routine tonsillectomy December

neurologist and that Jahi McMath be given a feeding tube”)

an abortion. Author Jeff Lane Hensley quotes her in his book “The Zero
People.” This book contains pro-life essays on abortion from various
writers.

done by inducing labor before viability. The contractions that a woman would
go through through were very strong. They were painful for the mother. Babies
who were aborted with this method were often delivered with bruises over

In this post, from November 30, 2005, a clinic worker discusses how her clinic
is considering offering women the chance to “donate” their aborted
“tissue” for research purposes.
In her blog, she makes the argument
that pro-lifers who take photos of aborted babies are exploiting the babies
because they sometimes handle and pose them. According to her, fetuses are
“generally exploited – not respected” by the pro-life movement.
