After a national debate about sexual moral and values following A&Es decision to kick Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson off of the program, the cable television channel has relented and issued a statement late Friday welcoming him back.
An A&E statement to The Hollywood Reporter read: As a global media content company, A+E Networks core values are centered around creativity, inclusion and mutual respect. We believe it is a privilege for our brands to be invited into peoples home and we operate with a strong sense of integrity and deep commitment to these principals... http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Hospital Yanking Jahi McMaths Life Support Refuses to Transfer Her to New Facility
The family of the teenage girl in California who is the subject of a national debate over whether a hospital has the right to yank life support has found a new care facility that will continue her medical care and treatment. But the hospital she is at now wont cooperate to move her.
A judge had ruled that a hospital in Oakland, California can remove life support from Jahi McMath, 13, who has been declared brain-dead days after undergoing surgery to have her tonsils removed. Her family is already devastated enough but has had to fight the hospital, which wanted to take her off life support against their wishes. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
The Obama administration has lost yet another court case against the controversial HHS mandate that forces companies, colleges, and religious groups to pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions under their employee health plans.
Abortion Doc Who Failed to Report Statutory Rapes Stops Abortions
Forth Wayne, Indiana is temporarily abortion-free now that an abortion practitioner who failed to properly report cases of statutory rape to state officials has stopped doing abortions. How long Ulrich Klopfer, the Illinois-based abortion practitioner who did abortions in this large Indiana city until problems came up recently, will stop doing abortions remains to be seen.
A news website has posted an old video of Mother Teresa, whose commentary on abortion was always poignant and inspiring.
But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because Jesus said, If you receive a little child, you receive me, she is famous for saying. So every abortion is the denial of receiving Jesus, is the neglect of receiving Jesus. It is really a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Chicago has become the murder capital of America for the large number of shootings and murder victims it produces and, tragically, Christmas day was no exception. Young Eva Casara told her grandmother she was leaving the house and asked when dinner was ready. Sadly, the pregnant teenager never made it back home.
Dr. Beverly McMillan is a former abortionist who left the abortion business. She spoke at a conference sponsored by the Pro-Life Action League called Meet the Abortion Providers, which took place in Chicago. She has also told her story to Focus on the Family, which published her testimony in a pamphlet called How One Doctor Changed Her Mind on Abortion. She performed abortions only in the first trimester, but as you will see, even some babies in the first trimester are very well-developed. In her own words:
Then there is one of the finalists for the Dallas Morning News 2013 Texan of the Year. Lets think hard: pro-abortion newspaper that can never beat up pro-life Republicans enough or celebrate pro-abortion Democrats sufficiently. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
Dr. Patti Giebink, a board-certified OB/GYN and former abortionist, appeared in a commercial promoting initiative 11, a measure that would have banned abortion in South Dakota. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
MSN.com had this very neutral headline on the tragic story of the girl whose tonsillectomy went wrong: Brain-dead teen facing move. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/
