Obama Falsely Claims Planned Parenthood Does Mammograms
During the White House forum on women the Obama administration held today, pro-abortion President Barack Obama misled during a speech he gave in which he falsely claimed the Planned Parenthood abortion business does mammograms.
Obama falsely claimed that Planned Parenthood provides preventive care, like mammograms, that millions of women rely on.
Despite Obama s assurance, Planned Parenthood itself admits that it does not perform mammograms for women something the Komen for the Cure breast cancer charity confirmed last year. Rick Santorum s Daughter Bella Hospitalized Again
Rick Santorum s daughter Bella is back in the hospital again, according to an email his campaign staff sent to LifeNews.com. This is the second time since the beginning of the year that she has required hospitalization. Bella suffers from a chromosomal condition called Trisomy 18.
Hogan Gidley, National Communications Director, said: Rick and his wife Karen have taken their daughter Bella to the hospital. The family requests prayers and privacy as Bella works her way to recovery.
In January, Santorum canceled some of his Florida campaign events to be with his sick daughter, Bella, who has Edwards Syndrome or Trisomy 18, a chromosomal condition which results in stillbirth 50 percent of the time. Bella was admitted to the hospital because she had pneumonia in both of her lungs, according to campaign aides. The little girl was not on a ventilator. Abortion Clinic in Alabama Closed After Botched Abortions
An incident that sent two abortion patients to the hospital from a Birmingham abortion clinic in January has resulted in the state health department in Alabama ordering the closing of the abortion clinic in question.
As LifeNews reported, the health department issued a scathing 76-page deficiency report written by the Alabama Department of Public Health that details dangerous and deceptive practices that continue to endanger the health and safety of women.
The report found violations in nine categories after a complaint lodged by a pro-life activist prompted a health inspection of New Woman All Women clinic owned and operated by Diane Derzis, who was once dubbed by Alabama legislators as the Abortion Queen. Good Friday Gone Bad: What if Jesus Were Pro-Choice?
Sometimes we achieve clarity when we put an ideology into a different context. Time magazine wants to honor Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, as Person of the Year. She presides over the organization that is the number one killer of infants in the United States. What if Jesus were to have embraced her prochoice worldview? What would that look like?
We could kiss salvation goodbye. Adoption is at the heart of our soul s redemption, yet a maligned consideration on the prochoice periphery. (Planned Parenthood aborts over 392 children for every 1 adoption referral). Half of us would immediately be written off as unwanted, therefore disposable, and certainly not worth eternally saving.
A prochoice Jesus would be the ultimate hypocrite having his own life spared from a single teenage mother scenario only to condemn to death others in similar circumstances. Joy Behar Mocks Bristol Palin s Resolve to Practice Abstinence
During a segment on the April 5 edition of The View, the panel was discussing Bristol Palin s new reality TV show about Palin moving in with her boyfriend and her decision to practice abstinence until marriage.
While the rest of the panel wanted to have a serious discussion about the show and on the issue of abstinence in general, Behar took the opportunity to doubt Bristol s decision and to make light of the situation. Behar, who delights in mocking conservative politicians and their families, appears to have no off switch when it comes to discussing serious issues. [Audio here]
Behar, like many on the Left, think that it s absolutely absurd to resolve to not have sex before marriage. She s going to be abstinent? Lila Rose Writes New Battle Cry for Pro-Life Women
Lila Rose, the president of Live Action who made national headlines for exposing law-breaking practices at Planned Parenthood abortion centers, penned a remarkable editorial entitled The cry of the anti-abortion feminist, which was recently published by Politico.
Challenging prevailing stereotypes about feminism and encouraging readers to reconsider what is truly in the best interest of women does not go over well with the pro-abortion movement and the mainstream media.
Just in her twenties, Lila Rose has been an inspiration to the youth of the pro-life movement for several years. Yet, to accompany the article Politico chose a photo that showed not one pro-life young person. Instead, they chose a photo from a pro-life rally featuring grumpy-looking white-haired activists, about half of which are male. The text itself challenges commonly held misconceptions about the pro-life movement, yet the chosen photo does the opposite by reinforcing the erroneous claim that the movement is just based on ideas of the past and motivated by religious fanaticism. Why not just use an actual photo of Lila Rose? Tenth Annual Pro-Life T-Shirt Week Starts Later This Month
The tenth annual pro-life t-shirt week sponsored by America Life League is just around the corner and the organization says it expects thousands or pro-life college, high school and junior high students to participate.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, National Pro-Life T-Shirt Week begins on Tuesday, April 24 and goes through Monday, April 30. Prizes include national exposure of the winning works.
More and more youth are returning to family tradition, responsibility, and the teachings of their faith.
