Reflections on 2011 By Jim Sedlak
To say that 2011 has been a watershed year in the battle against Planned Parenthood is an understatement. This has been a year that has seen the effort to close down Planned Parenthood escalate to new and successful heights.
But, don't take my word for it. Here are just a few examples of what Planned Parenthood leaders are saying:
Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America: "...unprecedented attacks on Planned Parenthood. Politicians escalating their anti-women rhetoric as they try to outdo each other in their attacks on Planned Parenthood and women's health."
Peter J. Durkin, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Gulf Coast: "2011 was one of the most discouraging years ever."

Feast of the Holy Innocents
On December 28, the Catholic Church commemorates the Feast of the Holy Innocents. It is a reminder that, after the birth of Jesus, Herod sent his army out to destroy every male child under the age of two. It was Satan's first attempt to end the life of this God made man. Thankfully, it failed, but hundreds of innocent children paid with their lives.
For those who fight against Planned Parenthood, this day offers a special time of reflection. Over 900 innocent children will die today at Planned Parenthood facilities. PP kills that many preborn babies on average every day, 365 days a year in its own medical and surgical abortion mills. That doesn't even count the millions each year who die from abortifacient products sold by Planned Parenthood.
