“Whatever type of pro-life ministry”

Space limited for special February retreat in Sacramento diocese

Fr. Patrick Lee will lead a diocesan day retreat for pro-lifers in the Sacramento diocese on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Mercy Center in Auburn.

The diocesan-sponsored event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. Check-in is at 9:30 a.m. and a Vigil Mass is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Fr. Lee, a retired priest of the Diocese of Sacramento, is well known in the region for his many pro-life activities.

“Come be refreshed, encouraged, and strengthened in your apostolic work as a pro-life Catholic Christian,” says a flyer announcing the event. “Whatever type of pro-life ministry you’re involved in, you’re invited to attend: Sidewalk Counselors, Life Center Staff/Volunteers, Parish Respect Life Ministries, Rachel’s Vineyard Team Members, etc...”

“To effectively work towards the cause of building a vibrant Culture of Life, this retreat will serve as a means of personal rejuvenation and fellowship with others who share in the same important work,” the flyer says.

Mercy Center is located at 535 Sacramento St. in Auburn. Space is available only for the first 100 registrants.
