Planned Parenthood Botches Abortion, Sends Woman to Hospital
The Planned Parenthood abortion business has botched the abortion done on a woman and her unborn child in Iowa that has resulted in sending the woman to a local hospital for medical attention.

Local pro-life advocates providing abortion alternatives information to women outside the Planned Parenthood of the Heartland abortion facility in Sioux City, Iowa noted that, at 1:30 p.m. local time yesterday, an ambulance responded to an emergency call from Planned Parenthood. Once it arrived at the abortion clinic, the ambulance transported a patient to a local hospital.

The pro-life advocates at the scene said they recalled seeing the same woman earlier in the day as she entered the abortion center and her medical condition is unknown at this time. Because if privacy laws, pro-life advocates concerned about the condition of the woman could not ascertain it.

Sherill Glassmaker, a pro-life activist who was just leaving a neighboring pregnancy resource center, noticed the ambulance in the parking lot and began taking pictures to document the incident. Glassmaker said a paramedic working for Siouxland Paramedics took time out from his job to approach her and complain about her presence at the abortion facility. During the conversation with her, he confirmed that he was responding to a 911 call for emergency medical assistance. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/planned-parenthood-botches-abortion-sends-woman-to-hospital/

Court to Hold Hearing on Nurses Forced to Assist Abortions
A federal court will hold hearings on a lawsuit on Thursday in the case of 12 nurses being forced to assist with abortions at a New Jersey hospital.

The hearing concerns a motion filed by ADF attorneys on behalf of the nurses that asks the court to issue a preliminary injunction that would halt any efforts by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to coerce the nurses in violation of federal law while their lawsuit moves forward.

"Pro-life nurses shouldn't be forced to assist or train in services related to abortions. Federal and state law both prohibit this," said Alliance Defense Fund Legal Counsel Matt Bowman. "These 12 nurses have encountered threats to their jobs at this hospital ever since a policy change required them to participate in the abortion cases regardless of their religious and moral objections. It is disturbing that the hospital is fighting to continue violating laws that clearly protect conscience rights."

Last month, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey issued a temporary restraining order, with the hospital's temporary consent, that prohibited the hospital from coercing the nurses until the court could consider whether to issue an additional order, which is the subject of Thursday's hearing. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/court-to-hold-hearing-on-nurses-forced-to-assist-abortions/

Ron Paul Runs New Pro-Life Campaign Ad With Former Patients
Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul is out with a new television commercial for his campaign in Iowa that emphasizes his pro-life values and features former patients of his.

While many voters know Paul is a three-time presidential candidate and a Republican congressman from Texas who takes libertarian positions on many issues, Iowa votes may not know hide is an OBGYN who has delivered thousands of babies and the television ad reminds them of that fact.

The ad says Paul is "committed to protecting life" and has delivered more than 4,000 babies. The patients say life begins at conception and they trusted Dr. Paul, "because you knew he cared about you." The commercial also emphasizes his Christian faith and says "Washington didn't change Ron." http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/ron-paul-runs-new-pro-life-campaign-ad-with-former-patients/

Five Male Celebrities Who Are Pro-Life on Abortion
Recently I wrote about five male celebrities I boycott for their pro-abortion views. Today, I'll tell you about five famous men whose careers I can feel good about supporting, because they believe in and profess the sanctity of life.

Keep in mind I may disagree with them on other issues. But because I believe abortion is the ultimate moral litmus test, if they recognize the evil of abortion, I know their moral compass is pointed in the right direction. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/five-male-celebrities-who-are-pro-life-on-abortion/

A Generation Damaged by Abortion Protects Future Generations
Right now, I can hear laughter emanating from the conference room down the hall. In that room, Pro-Life college activists from all over Texas are meeting to discuss a semester gone and rejuvenating for the upcoming one.

They are Texas Right to Life scholarship recipients and they represent some of the largest universities in Texas. They are striving to make their campuses see the disarray abortion has wrought on this nation, and to change people's hearts.

Pro-abortion groups want people to think the average Pro-Life activist is a retirement-aged white guy, standing outside of the abortion mill praying. While I am sure there are those men – and we are grateful for them – the most vocal Pro-Life advocates of today are high school and college-aged students, and young adults who have witnessed what the horrors of abortion have done to their generation. As young people, they stand as survivors of a "choice" that very well could have been their own fate. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/a-generation-damaged-by-abortion-protects-future-generations/

Letter to an Abortion Clinic Worker: You Will be Exploited
Welcome, and congratulations on your new position at the clinic. You have a lot of learning ahead of you, so allow me to make the process easier by filling you in on a few things. This is all confidential, mind you.

First, you have no doubt noticed the protesters gathered outside. The activity you have seen is pretty typical; they mostly just pray and when they do approach a patient, it's quiet and respectful. The orange-vested escorts we employ aren't really necessary for the patients' safety, but they are very necessary for our image. It's important we continue to advance the fallacy that pro-lifers are violent, or at least unpredictable, despite the fact that the overwhelming majority are respectful and law-abiding.

Pregnant patients will meet with counselors. Luckily, some will know right away they want an abortion. If they're wavering, our counselors will coerce them into it. May sound harsh, but trust me, it's for the best. And after all, abortion is our bread and butter. We try not to use the word "abortion," though. It puts people off. Other words to avoid include "baby," "child," and "mother." http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/letter-to-an-abortion-clinic-worker-you-will-be-exploited/

NAACP Abandons Blacks by Opposing Ban on Race-Based Abortion
The word from LifeNews.com is that the NAACP is opposed to the Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act of 2011, which criminalizes abortion on the grounds of race or sex.

Incredible.

With Planned Parenthood operating 78% of their "clinics" in inner-city neighborhoods, and African Americans constituting 12% of the nation but having 37% of the abortions, this is not only racial suicide, but fratricide as well. When the NAACP objects to a bill that would not only outlaw sex-selective abortions, but race-based abortions as well, that's fratricide. One may only speculate as to why.

Perhaps the NAACP believes that culling the excess of unplanned pregnancies among their daughters is the answer to poverty. That's genuinely understandable (so long as one sets aside the ten commandments, human instinct, and human decency), and as with most evil and mental confusion, it does have its own internal logic. Vacuuming African American wombs frees girls to pursue their education and vocational advancement. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/naacp-abandons-blacks-by-opposing-ban-on-race-based-abortion/

FRC Voting Guide: Bachmann, Perry, Santorum Most Pro-Life

Pro-Life Pastor Wins Fight Against Oakland on Free Speech
The case involving Pastor Walter Hoye's right to Free Speech was back in court last week for a determination of proper remedy after the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal's July ruling that Oakland's enforcement of its "bubble zone" ordinance "is a constitutionally invalid, content-based regulation of speech.". http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/pro-life-pastor-wins-fight-against-oakland-on-free-speech/

No Compromise When It Comes to Protecting Unborn Children

Boquet pushed for the legislative protection of life in the United States and around the world in a video interview with Catholic News Agency saying that there is no compromise when it comes to life issues. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/21/no-compromise-when-it-comes-to-protecting-unborn-children/

No Neurosurgery for Elderly "Units" Under ObamaCare
A neurologist is called to the hospital in the middle of the night to treat an elderly patient who arrives with a brain aneurysm.
