Ben Nelson Won t Run in 2012, OKd Pro-Abortion Obamacare
Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson is set to announce today that he will not seek re-election to his U.S. Senate seat after losing his status as a darling of the pro-life movement by agreeing to support the abortion-funding Obamacare bill.

Simply put: It is time to move on, he said today.

His decision to not seek re-election leaves Democrats without a major candidate for the Senate seat and, at this time, makes it almost certain that Republicans will take over the seat. That s important for pro-life organizations looking for Republicans to take over the Senate next year so pro-life legislation has a chance for an up or down vote. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/ben-nelson-wont-run-in-2012-okd-pro-abortion-obamacare/

Family Brings Home Healthy Baby After 10 Miscarriages
Miscarriage has claimed the lives of unborn children whose parents desperately wanted them to live. Now comes an amazing story of one family s dedication to have a child despite facing 10 miscarriages over the years.

At LifeNews, we ve included profiled how the miscarriage she had is partly responsible for the pro-life views Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has on abortion. And we ve included the moving testimony of the miscarriage abortion survivor and noted pro-life speaker Melissa Ohden had recently and how it impacted her life and faith in God.

Now, after losing 10 pregnancies over the course of their 10-year marriage, Kristi and Paul Rhodes of Murfreesboro, Tennessee were worried that their 11th baby would suffer the same fate. Instead, today, 4-month-old Savannah is proof to the couple that miracles really do happen. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/family-brings-home-healthy-baby-after-10-miscarriages/

Abortion Recovery: My Personal Healing After Abortion
My personal history is extreme: high school dropout, coerced abortion as a teenager, self-injury, attempted suicide to escape the consuming guilt after killing my first baby, years spent working in an abortion clinic (trying to convince myself that killing children is acceptable), and finally accepting the truth and becoming pro-life and continuing along the long road to recovery. While I recognize and acknowledge that my experience is not common, it is not rare either, and it is shameful and dishonest for the pro-abortion PR machine to churn out propaganda pretending that post-abortion emotional trauma and regret do not exist.

In my dreams my not-sleeping mind creates a full life for my baby. When I am awake, I wonder what he d be doing, what he d look like, what career would he have chosen, would he be married by now would I be a grandmother by now? There s a thought that gives me great pause: so I exterminated not only my first child but my grandchild(ren) as well When I met Live Action s President and founder Lila Rose for the first time I was shaking with the knowledge that she was only a handful of months older than my first baby would be had I allowed him to live. There are times when fantasizing about my unpresent child leads to wistful melancholy, but thankfully it has not (again) led to the depths of despair and hopelessness it once had. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/abortion-recovery-my-personal-healing-after-abortion/

Abortion Clinic Manager on Trial for Assaulting Pro-Lifer
The manager of an abortion facility in Kansas City, Kansas will face a trial in court tomorrow after witnesses say he assaulted a pro-life advocate who was outside the abortion center at the time. Mary Anne Sause was putting away her pro-life signs when Mark Pederson, the manager of the Aid for Women abortion center came up to her and began taking pictures of her. After doing so, Sause says he, unprovoked, slammed her to ground.

I m thinking as a former rape victim that he s going to find out where I live, Sause told a local television station. He literally picked me up and body slammed me into the ground.

Witness Kyle Nelson was present at the time and said he though Pederson was trying to rob Sause, so he called 911 on his cell phone.

I started hearing some screaming, he told the television station. It sounded like this woman was being robbed. He grabbed her arms in a way, and they had the camera you know in their hands. He flipped her like you would in a wrestling move to get someone onto the ground. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/abortion-clinic-manager-on-trial-for-assaulting-pro-lifer/

Rockefeller Foundation Pushes Legalized Abortion in Uruguay
The Rockefeller Foundation is pushing the small South American nation of Uruguay, where women and unborn children enjoy legal protection, to legalize abortion. New legislation the nation is considering it has defeated previous attempts to make abortion legal would legalize abortions within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Jennie Stone of the Live Action blog posted on the legislation and the foundation s involvement in pushing abortion

Why Does the NAACP Support Abortion, Oppose Pro-Life Bill?
Last summer the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) passed a resolution condemning what it called extremist elements within the Tea Party. Stunningly, the national NAACP has never questioned the extreme practice of race-based abortions.

When given the chance to support a bill that would end the practice of race-based and gender-based abortions in the United States, the NAACP passed on the honor. In fact, it protested the bill.

On December 1, Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) re-introduced the Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act. The NAACP sided with over three dozen civil rights groups in opposing it. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/why-does-the-naacp-support-abortion-oppose-pro-life-bill/

Wrongful Birth Lawsuits Wrongly Tell Kids: Wish You Were Dead
Imagine gazing at your child and coldly declaring, You should never have been born. Yet parents are doing exactly that in courts around the world as they bring wrongful life or wrongful birth lawsuits against doctors and fertility clinics. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/wrongful-birth-lawsuits-wrongly-tell-kids-wish-you-were-dead/

No Room at the Inn: Caring for Women and Unborn Children
No room at the inn. That s been gnawing at me for months. A young girl in labor, and a distraught husband desperate to find a place for his young bride to give birth. A little privacy and perhaps the assistance of an older woman from the community for the young couple far from home and reporting in for the Imperial Census. But there was no room at the inn, any inn. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/no-room-at-the-inn-caring-for-women-and-unborn-children/

Transhumanism Turns People Into Slaves to Technology
The gaming industry is into transhumanism. The idea of removing a perfectly good limb and replacing it with one that has super human abilities is the stuff of video games, for now. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/transhumanism-turns-people-into-slaves-to-technology/

Utah Court: Unborn Baby is a Minor Child in Criminal Law
The Supreme Court of Utah has deemed a preborn baby a minor child under Utah statute after a health clinic in Provo disregarded Amelia Sanchez s plea to induce labor when she was pregnant, likely resulting in the death of her unborn son in April of 2006. http://www.lifenews.com/2011/12/27/utah-court-unborn-baby-is-a-minor-child-in-criminal-law/
