Abortion Doc Who Killed Woman in Failed Abortion Under Investigation
LeRoy Carhart, the Maryland abortion practitioner who recently killed a woman in a failed legal abortion is now under investigation by Maryland officials on the state health board.Jennifer McKenna Morbelli, a 29-year-old woman from New Rochelle, New York died from a botched 33-week abortion on February 7. Investigators looking into the death of Jennifer Morbelli in Maryland from a legal abortion have discovered that another woman also died from a second-trimester abortion in the state, but it was never made public until now.

Catholic Bishops Urge Support for Bill Taking on Obama Mandate
Cardinal Seán O’Malley of Boston, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Committee on Pro-Life Activities, urged members of the U.S. House of Representatives to support the Health Care Conscience Rights Act of 2013. H.R. 940 was introduced by Rep. Diane Black (R-TN) on March 4; the bill has 66 co-sponsors.

The Maryland Department of Health and Hygiene has suspended the licenses of three surgical abortion clinics. All three are affiliated with embattled abortion business owner Steven Chase Brigham.
