Judge in Kermit Gosnell Abortion Case Dismisses Pro-Life Jurors
The judge in the horrific abortion case involving Kermit Gosnell and charges of eight counts of murder of a woman he killed in an abortion and the babies whose spinal cords he snipped is causing a stir.

Jury selection has concluded in Gosnell s case and Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey P. Minehart has sent home any potential juror that professed to be pro-life. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/judge-in-kermit-gosnell-abortion-case-dismisses-pro-life-jurors/
72 Members of Congress Call for Investigation of Planned Parenthood
Seventy-two members of the U.S. Congress have signed a letter to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) requesting updated detailed information about government grants to Planned Parenthood.

Leading the effort to uncover information about government money being funneled to Planned Parenthood are Representative Pete Olson of Texas and Representative Diane Black of Tennessee. The request asks for more information following a GAO report compiled and released in 2010 at the request of 31 members of Congress that raised more questions than it answered. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/72-members-of-congress-call-for-investigation-of-planned-parenthood/

Appeals Court Asked to Strike Down Obama s HHS-Abortion Mandate
A federal appeals court will be the site of one of the next legal battles against the Obama HHS mandate that forces religious groups and businesses to pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions.
A new amicus brief tells the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit that ObamaCare s employer mandate has become the bludgeon with which the government feels empowered to cripple the consciences of religious employers. Alliance Defending Freedom, Americans United for Life, and several state family policy councils filed the brief today. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/appeals-court-asked-to-strike-down-obamas-hhs-abortion-mandate/
Planned Parenthood Tries to Hide Botched Abortion Injuring Woman
The Planned Parenthood abortion business in Denver, Colorado appears to have tried to hidden the fact that it botched an abortion on a woman so badly that it had to transport her to a local hospital.
Operation Rescue informed LifeNews today that an ambulance quietly slipped into the parking lot of Planned Parenthood in Denver in the late afternoon of Tuesday, March 5, where it loaded up an abortion patient, and slipped out again. The ambulance ran without lights or sirens an in attempt to conceal what happened. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/planned-parenthood-tries-to-hide-botched-abortion-injuring-woman-2/

Ruling on Fetal Pain-Abortion Ban Could Lead to Supreme Court Battle
An Idaho judge has struck down the law the state of Idaho approved that bans abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy based on the scientific evidence showing unborn children feel pain.

Officials with the National Right to Life Committee, who have pushed these pro-life abortion bans in other states, welcome the ruling because it provides an opportunity to get to the Surpeme Court and to further water down Roe v. Wade. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/ruling-on-fetal-pain-abortion-ban-could-lead-to-supreme-court-battle/
Woman Conceived in Rape: It Hurts When People Support Abortion
As UN delegates in closed rooms debate language regarding access to abortion for women who have been violated, two women at an event blocks away presented a powerful argument for breaking the cycle of violence by rejecting abortion even when the child s conception is the result of rape.

When people say that women pregnant by rape should get an abortion, I can tell you that it hurts, said Rebecca Kiessling. She was conceived in a brutal rape. But I do understand that people don t put a face to this issue. For most it is just a concept. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/woman-conceived-in-rape-it-hurts-when-people-support-abortion/

Surgery on Unborn Baby at 20 Weeks Removes Orange-Sized Cyst
The surgery on unborn child Samuel Armas more than a dozen years ago received international attention thanks to the amazing picture of Samuel grabbing a doctor s hand during the surgery.
Such pre-birth medical procedure are more common than most people think, but the way in which physicians can help unborn babies with medical problems in the womb is simply amazing.
UN Agreement on Violence Against Women Threatened by Abortion Advocates
The meeting has barely begun and UN member states are already deadlocked in negotiations at the Commission on the Status of Women this week at UN headquarters. The new line of attack appears to be a push to establish abortion for cases of rape as a right of reparation under humanitarian law.. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/un-agreement-on-violence-against-women-threatened-by-abortion-advocates/

Is New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo the King of Abortions?
In 2012, nearly half of America s states enacted laws designed to protect women and children from coerced, unsafe, and rushed abortions. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, however, has dug in his heels in blind obedience to an outdated doctrine and is pushing to expand abortion in his state. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/is-the-new-york-gov-andrew-cuomo-the-king-of-abortions/

Belgium to OK Euthanizing Children Because It s Happening Anyway
Euthanasia guidelines are worse than meaningless, they are pretense. They exist to give the illusion of control. But once people come fully accept the premise of euthanasia killing as a remedy for suffering it s Katy bar the door. (That hasn t happened yet in the USA. But if assisted suicide gets a firm grip here, it will.). http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/07/belgium-to-ok-euthanizing-children-because-its-happening-anyway/
