Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

We are counting down the days until Christmas! To get into the Christmas spirit, we thought we would share with you a fun fact about Mary's Shelter everyday for the next 12 days. So here's our fun fact for today!

12 DAYS LEFT: There are 12 children currently living at Mary's Shelter.

That's a lot of kids! But, it does not beat the record set earlier this year of 18 kids at Mary's Shelter. Here is a picture of our record-setting number of children from January, 2012:
