The Cardinal Newman Society urges all our members—and all the Faithful—to join the bishops in their Prayer Movement for LIFE, MARRIAGE and LIBERTY!It won't be easy, but the times call for extraordinary prayer and sacrifice: The family... abortion... social decline... the fight for religious liberty... At times like these—when LIFE, MARRIAGE and LIBERTY are under assault—there's no better time to pray!And we should pray like we never have before. Our bishops have urged each of us to commit to prayer and sacrifice over the next year. Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.
