Bill May Be Last Chance to Stop Obama s HHS-Abortion Mandate
A new bill members of Congress have introduced may be the last chance for Congress to take action to mitigate the conscience problems associated with President Barack Obama s HHS mandate.

Today, members of Congress, with the backing of major pro-life groups, are introducing a new major bill to stop the Obama administration s assault on pro-life religious freedom via the HHS mandate. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/bill-may-be-last-chance-to-stop-obamas-hhs-abortion-mandate/

Obsessed With Death: Kermit Gosnell Kept Jars of Severed Baby Feet
His alleged crimes went undetected for years. He was the go-to guy in the neighborhood for Oxycotin and other addictive drugs an illegal business which investigators say brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

And he was also known as the doc to go to for extremely late, late-term abortions (more than 24 weeks gestation). At times, those late-term abortions turned into the killing of live infants, according to a grand jury report that reads like the script from a horror movie. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/obsessed-with-death-kermit-gosnell-kept-jars-of-severed-baby-feet/

Abortion Clinic Closes After Doing Abortions for 30 Years
Two more abortion centers have closed in Michigan, after one of them was exposed a few years ago for dumping the bodies of aborted babies in the dumpster outside the facility.

The abortion practitioner also faced a lawsuit for killing a woman in a failed abortion.

Quadruplets Turn One After Mother Rejected Abortion Advice
One of the top pro-life concerns when multiple pregnancies occur is the advice doctors routinely give to mothers to consider an abortion in order to save one or more other children.

Never mind that mothers frequently give birth to multiple children without complications doctors still give the advice anyway. But, not every mother has a selective reduction to kill one or more of their unborn children in abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/quadruplets-turn-one-after-mother-rejected-abortion-advice/

Surrogate Mom Given $10K to Abort Imperfect Baby, Rejects Offer
When it comes to babies who are diagnosed with some sort of fetal abnormality in the womb, the pressure is high from doctors, family members and society to have an abortion. That s why approximately 90 percent of babies with Down syndrome, for example, become victims of abortion.

When a surrogacy pregnancy is involved, the pressure brought to bear is only intensified. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/surrogate-mom-given-10k-to-abort-imperfect-baby-rejects-offer/

Students for Life Protests Planned Parenthood Public Vagina Display
The University of Cincinnati will be posting private parts for very public viewing this week.

On Wednesday (March 6th), the University of Cincinnati Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Alliance and the UC Feminists will host a panel lead by Planned Parenthood and Thursday (March 7th) will host an art display called Re-envisioning the Female Body featuring 12 billboard-sized images of female genitalia on campus. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/students-for-life-protests-planned-parenthood-public-vagina-display/

Abortion Survivor: I Shouldn t Be Standing Here at All
Six hundred people gathered at the Crossroads Pregnancy Center fundraiser at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester Hills on Friday night, March 1, to hear Melissa Ohden speak. Ohden climbed the steps to the platform and took the microphone in her hand to begin. From the first sentence of her spectacular story, the assembly realized that these simple actions were extraordinary.

Thirty-five years ago, Ohden s unmarried nineteen-year-old mother was told that termination of her pregnancy was her only option. Pressured by her own family to have an abortion, the young woman s choice was no choice at all. She underwent a saline infusion abortion and returned to St. Luke s Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa, 5 days later to deliver her dead baby. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/abortion-survivor-i-shouldnt-be-standing-her-at-all/

Commission on Status of Women: Media Bashes Nations Against Abortion
As the 57th session of the Commission on the Status of Women begins today, two news stories are already disingenuously implying that the Holy See, the Russian Federation, and Iran are effectively enablers of violence committed against women. These and several other UN member states oppose the inclusion of language that could be used to support a right to abortion a topic that is always controversial within the UN system. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/commission-on-status-of-women-media-bashes-nations-against-abortion/

In countless cases where children are born with disabilities or into impoverished or unhealthy families, the go-to solution for liberal-minded individuals is abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/logic-fail-kill-the-baby-in-abortion-to-save-her-from-abuse/

Will California Try Again to Legalize Assisted Suicide?
California, a state with an aging population, falling birth rates, and rising welfare rolls, now has a super majority of Democrats in the state legislature with a Democrat as governor. The legislature has the best opportunity it has ever had to pass whatever legislation it wants. And, what it has wanted since at least 2000 is assisted suicide. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/03/05/will-california-try-again-to-legalize-assisted-suicide/
