Planned Parenthood's Disdain for Catholics It is clear that there is disdain for the beliefs and practices of Catholicism within the halls of Planned Parenthood. HEADLINES | | FDA weighs putting Plan B morning-after pill on drugstore shelves Washington Post The federal government is grappling with the explosive question of whether to let anyone of any age buy the controversial morning-after pill Plan B directly off drugstore and supermarket shelves without a prescription. Research suggesting that newer birth control formulations are more likely to cause blood clots than older drugs has prompted the Food and Drug Administration to consider new safety measures in meetings later this week. The increased risk is slight but significant because blood clots can cause heart attacks, strokes and blockages in lungs or blood vessels, which can be fatal. |
| Bound4life Planned Parenthood only wants you to have a choice when it matches its definition of what choice is. The most recent example is in this story where Planned Parenthood has called for a removal of a religious protection clause from a birth control bill in Florida. Not only does Planned Parenthood think that all women should be given free birth control with no co-pays whatsoever, even though 1) Most forms of hormonal birth control are abortifacient and 2) almost everyone even with great health insurance has a co-pay for any normal medical visit or prescription. | |
