Today we launch the impressive Charity in Truth website, beginning first with a focus on the Canadian bishops' Development and Peace organization. Also included is a powerful new video explaining why Catholics must urge their bishops to halt the ongoing scandal of continued funding of pro-abortion groups and a disturbing lack of transparency.

In the last several months Pope Benedict made dramatic moves that now compel bishops around the world to finally hold their aid groups accountable to Catholic principles. The "business as usual" approach is no longer acceptable. The role of lay people - as is their right and duty - is now to respectfully, but insistently and persistently urge their bishops to follow through on Benedict's directions.

The National Review's insistence that CPAC and the Republican Party "embrace" same-sex "marriage" ideologues and concentrate on "the important issues" is astounding.  They don't seem to realize they are shoving 75% of their base into the formation of a third party. National Review has officially gone over to the dark side.
