Belgium Approves Measure Allowing Doctors to Euthanize Children
The Belgian Parliament voted today to extend euthanasia to children
with disabilities, in a move pro-life advocates worldwide had been
fearing would come and expand an already much-abused euthanasia law even
further.
The 86-44 vote Thursday in the House of Representatives, with 12 abstentions, followed approval by the Belgian Senate in December. No age limit would be set, but the children who are euthanized would have “to possess the capacity of discernment.” http://www.lifenews.com/2014/

and doctors determined she had inside of her a 44-year-old unborn child
who had died internally.

Yesterday,
the Thomas More Society filed a federal lawsuit in the Middle District
of Tennessee on behalf of Pharmacist Dr. Philip Hall against the
Walgreen Company.

The
complaint alleges that, in August 2013, Walgreens wrongfully fired Hall,
who had been employed for six years as a pharmacist at Walgreens’ store
in Jamestown, Tennessee, in violation of his constitutionally and

thousands of calls have come in for a group of five siblings looking
for a home willing to give them a shot at being adopted. Although
officials are looking for a family in Oregon, they would consider one

CNN Endorses Right to Life…For Animals
CNN’s Anderson Cooper did little to hide his outrage on his Tuesday
program over a zoo in Copenhagen, Denmark killing a giraffe. Cooper
confronted the zoo’s scientific director and asked, “Doesn’t the life of
the animal itself have some value, rather than just it being part of
your breeding program?” The host later expressed his dismay to Jack
Hanna: “What he seems to be saying is that the animal itself doesn’t
really have any right to live.”
Cooper later used language familiar to pro-life activists in defense of the giraffe: “At a certain point, the animals themselves should have some right to actually having a life.” http://www.lifenews.com/2014/

Why Did the Husband of One Brain Dead Wife Let His Baby Live and the Other Didn’t?
Many
in the pro-life community are reflecting on two tragic stories with
very different outcomes: the Munoz situation in Texas and the Benson
situation in Canada. In both, the wife and mother was declared brain
dead. In the Benson story, Iver Benson, son of Dylan Benson and his now
deceased wife, Robyn, has been allowed to live.
In the Munoz
situation, the result was the heartbreaking loss of both mother and
child. We offer our sincere condolences to both families faced with
these tragic situations. Many

Gosnell Worker Who Said Baby Screamed During Live-Birth “Abortion” Gets Sentenced Next Month
Yesterday,
Steven Massof, an unlicensed doctor who worked for convicted abortion
practitioner Kermit Gosnell, was sentenced to 6-12 years in jail. Massof
previously pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree murder.
With his sentencing
complete, there are now three former Gosnell staffers who await their
own sentences, including Gosnell abortion clinic employee Sherry West,
