Mom Says “Brain Dead” Teen Jahi McMath is Doing Better Jahi McMath, who was left in a precarious medical state following a botched tonsillectomy, is reportedly doing better — according to an open letter her mother released online. Jahi was the subject of a national debate recently as her parents fought a hospital that wanted to remove her life support.
Jahi was transferred from Oakland Children’s Hospital January 5 after a protracted legal battle between the family and the hospital which declared Jahi brain dead December 12 and sought to remove her from a ventilator. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/02/21/mom-says-brain-dead-teen-jahi-mcmath-is-doing-better/Amazing Photo Shows Woman Breathing Life Into Dying BabyFive-month-old Sebastian stopped breathing while in his aunt’s car during a traffic jam on the freeway and became unconscious. As Pamela Rauseo pulled over and screamed for someone to help her nephew, Sebastian, people came running to her aid — including a police officer and two firefighters.
Sebastian, who suffers from respiratory problems after being born prematurely, had started to turn blue as Ms Rauseo drove along a highway at 2.30pm. She quickly pulled over and lifted him from the car, screaming for help. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/02/21/amazing-photo-shows-woman-breathing-life-into-dying-baby/
Christi’s Story: Sexually Abusive Boyfriend Forced Her to Get Seven AbortionsChristi remembers the day like it was yesterday: “I was 17 when I got pregnant. I was so scared. I went to my mom’s friend, and she said, ‘Well, you definitely don’t want to tell your mom because your parents have such big dreams for you.’ So she took me to a clinic.”
For the next several years, despite her successful career and seemingly committed relationship with her boyfriend, Christi found herself in a vicious cycle of abuse and exploitation. “He abused me. He told me if I didn’t get abortions, he would leave me. I never stood up for myself.” http://www.lifenews.com/2014/02/21/sexually-abusive-boyfriend-forced-her-to-get-seven-abortions/

Baby Saved From Abortion: “The Doctor Told Me It Was Like a Peanut, That’s Not a Peanut”
The aggressive words — “Is this the f***ing pro-life stuff!?” — is how the best conversation of last week began.
An abrasive young woman was shouting those words at our newest team member Josh, he was caught a little off guard and wasn’t quite sure how to respond. No need to worry, the girl strutted right on by and straight up to Lauren, a veteran team member and quipped: “Why you guys gotta be at a college!?” http://www.lifenews.com/2014/02/21/baby-saved-from-abortion-the-doctor-told-me-it-was-like-a-peanut-thats-not-a-peanut/

3-D Printer Helps Blind Parents Feel Unborn Baby Before She’s Born The marvels of modern technology are bringing the experience of pregnancy to people who may otherwise not able to enjoy the same kinds of ultrasound pictures the rest of us get to enjoy and appreciate.
The use of 3-D printers is helping blind people who can’t see an ultrasound photo to enjoy a more tactile experience by being able to hold a 3-d model of their unborn baby. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/02/21/3-d-printer-helps-blind-parents-feel-unborn-baby-before-shes-born/
American Olympic Hopeful’s Dreams Shattered After Birth Control Caused Massive Blood ClotsMegan Henry was one of the top five women in the United States in the sport of skeleton. But, as she was attempting to qualify for the Olympics, a problem with her Nuva Ring birth control device brought her hopes and aspirations crashing down, and almost her life as well.
Henry started using the Nuva Ring birth control device last summer but, within 10 days of taken it, she had a hard time breathing. Eventually her breathing got so bad she could hardly speak an doctors couldn’t determine the cause. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/02/21/american-olympic-hopefuls-dreams-shattered-after-birth-control-caused-massive-blood-clots/

Swiss Clinic Euthanizes Elderly Woman Who Lost Her Beauty and Was LonelyThere is no limit to the death culture any more. An elderly Italian woman paid Dignitas 10,000 Euros to be made dead because she had lost her looks and was lonely.
From the Daily Mail story: A healthy Italian woman paid a Swiss right-to-die clinic to take her life because she was ‘unhappy about losing her looks.’ Oriella Cazzanello, 85, travelled to a clinic in Basel, Switzerland, where she paid €10,000 for an assisted suicide. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/02/21/swiss-clinic-euthanizes-elderly-woman-who-lost-her-beauty-and-was-lonely/

Breathtaking Video Documents Unborn Baby’s Nine-Month Journey There are a lot of ways to “document” the nine months of pregnancy. You can go heavily into prenatal development, providing pictures and/or illustrations that take you from well before the union of sperm and ovum to the conclusion–the birth of a child. http://www.lifenews.com/2014/02/21/breathtaking-video-documents-unborn-babys-nine-month-journey/
