Republican Congressman Won t Challenge Speaker John Boehner
A conservative GOP congressman announced he will not challenge pro-life House Speaker John Boehner, squelching rumors that the top Republican in Washington will face a contest for his position.

The office of Rep. Tom Price s (R-GA), a pro-life lawmaker from Georgia, told conservative media outlets mid-day today that he will not seek the Speakership in an inter-party fight against Boehner. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/republican-congressman-wont-challenge-speaker-john-boehner/

Planned Parenthood: Your Voice Counts, Unless You re a Baby
Planned Parenthood is promoting the International Day of Human Rights today, but apparently human rights don t extend to unborn children before birth.

Today is Human Rights Day. No matter who you are, or where you live, your voice counts, the abortion business tweeted Monday afternoon. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/planned-parenthood-your-voice-counts-unless-youre-a-baby/

Patient Passes Out, Turns Pale After Botched Abortion
An abortion clinic patient turned pale and passed out as emergency medical personnel worked to help her following a failed abortion at a clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

The pro-life group Operation Rescue obtained 911 records revealing that a Cleveland Surgi-Center abortion patient was rushed to the hospital after a clinic worker called 911 and reported that she had passed out and was turning pale due to apparent blood loss. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/patient-passes-out-turns-pale-after-botched-abortion/

Former Abortion Worker: I Held Up Feet to Check the Dead Baby s Age
The following is a testimony from Dina Madsen, a former abortion clinic worker who left her job and has since become a Christian:

I had to leave my heart at home. I went to work for a Sacramento abortion mill in the first week of September 1990. Before then, the word abortion had seldom passed through my mind, and I had no concept of what one actually was. I had lived a dysfunctional life and the sacredness of human life was not something I thought of much. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/former-abortion-worker-i-held-up-feet-to-check-the-dead-babys-age/

Regent University Supports Lawsuit Against HHS-Abortion Mandate
The American Center for Law & Justice, along with Regent University, has submitted a friend-of-the-court brief in support of the lawsuit filed by Grace College and Seminary and Biola University against the HHS mandate, which forces them to pay for abortion-inducing drugs contrary to their religious beliefs.

Grace College and Seminary and Biola University ( Colleges ) are Christ-centered institutions of higher learning. They believe that God, in His Word, has condemned the intentional destruction of innocent human life. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/regent-university-supports-lawsuit-against-hhs-abortion-mandate/

Mennonite Company Joins Catholics, Evangelicals Suing HHS Mandate
Out of Central Pennsylvania this week came a new challenge to the abortion provisions in President Obama s HHS Mandate.

Conestoga Wood Specialties, a Mennonite-owned company based in Lancaster County, filed a federal suit against the mandate, which forces employers to cover abortion-causing contraception for their employees. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/mennonite-company-joins-catholics-evangelicals-suing-hhs-mandate/

Planned Parenthood Stopped From Misusing Abortion Drug, Hurting Women
The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, in late November, denied Planned Parenthood s request that the court revisit its prior decision in Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio v. DeWine, upholding Ohio s regulation of RU-486. In October, the Sixth Circuit rejected Planned Parenthood s challenge to a 2004 Ohio law which requires that abortion providers dispense RU-486 only in the manner approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Rather than using as directed, the abortion industry has been handing out life-ending drugs using unapproved protocols that violate the restrictions established by the FDA, and some women have died. And yet, the abortion industry went to court to fight for the right to continue with these potentially deadly practices. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/planned-parenthood-stopped-from-misusing-abortion-drug-hurting-women/

Amnesty International Bans Pro-Life Group From Human Rights Event
Amnesty International upset pro-life advocates years ago by adopting a policy position supporting abortion. Now a local chapter of the international human rights group is making waves for banning a pro-life group from a human rights even. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/amnesty-international-bans-pro-life-group-from-human-rights-event/

Pro-Life Youth Academy Training the Next Generation of Leaders
As we look back on 40 years since the tragic Roe v. Wade decision, the pro-life movement can be proud of 40 years of diligent, dedicated service to the cause of restoring legal protection to our society s most innocent and vulnerable. We have made considerable progress but there is more work to be done. We have great hope in the future as young pro-life leaders step up to guide the movement through its next chapter. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/pro-life-youth-academy-training-the-next-generation-of-leaders/

Pro-Life Advocates Fined $5,000 for Trespassing on Sidewalk
A Mississippi judge has dismissed one of the three charges against pro-life advocates Kristina Garza and Brianna Baxter, but found them guilty of trespassing and disorderly contact for sharing the pro-life message on a public sidewalk. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/pro-life-advocates-fined-5000-for-trespassing-on-sidewalk/

Hey Republicans: Save the Unborn Millionaires
Every time the Republicans lose an election, the GOP Establishment tries to blame it on us. It s because we were so pro-life. If we hadn t attended all those Marches for Life, if we hadn t spent all that time raising funds for pregnancy care centers, if we hadn t taken those candidate classes on how to answer the hard questions of abortion, we would have won. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/hey-republicans-save-the-unborn-millionaires/

International Human Rights Day Letter: China Must Stop Forced Abortions
Reggie Littlejohn, the President of Women s Rights Without Frontiers, is one of the leading campaigners against forced abortions in China. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/international-human-rights-day-letter-china-must-stop-forced-abortions/

Judge: NC Choose Life Plates Invalid Because No Pro-Abortion Version
A federal judge ruled that the Choose Life plates in North Carolina are constitutional unsound because the state legislature did not offer a pro-abortion version of the plates for motorists to purchase. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/judge-nc-choose-life-plates-invalid-because-no-pro-abortion-version/

Forced Abortions a Small Price to Pay for Abortion on Demand?
Imagine with me two different women and two different scenarios. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/forced-abortions-a-small-price-to-pay-for-abortion-on-demand/

A New Pro-Life Christmas Tradition: Abortion Abolition Candle
For my family we keep our Christmas decorating simple: a Christmas tree, an advent calendar, stockings inside of our house, and lights wrapped around our tree and in our flower bed outside. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/a-new-pro-life-christmas-tradition-abortion-abolition-candle/

Court s Ruling Against Oklahoma Pro-Life Law Hurts Women
The Oklahoma Supreme Court overturned an Oklahoma law intended to ensure the safe use of abortion-inducing drugs, such as RU-486. The law, enacted in 2011 and based upon an AUL model, simply required that abortion providers administer the drugs in the manner approved by the FDA. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/courts-ruling-against-oklahoma-pro-life-laws-hurts-women/

On International Human Rights Day, Beware of Pro-Abortion Treaties
With the news media dominated by grim coverage of the fiscal cliff, you may have missed some good news. Last week, the United States was faced with a cliff that it did not go over: the Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD), a problematic UN treaty, was not ratified by the Senate. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/12/10/on-international-human-rights-day-beware-of-pro-abortion-treaties/
