Created Equal Interns Kick Off Summer Campaign
Columbus,
OH – June 5, 2014 – In the face of injustice, there is always a
"RESISTANCE" standing against the tide. Today, our summer interns are
that resistance—refusing to be silent as the killing continues. Weekly
they are creating dialogue downtown, showing the children on busy
overpasses, going door to door to tell communities about killers among
us, and more. See photos of them in action!
Today's RESISTANCE: Will, Reilly, Ian, Gabriel, Megan, Austin
Read their stories:
I
was standing with Austin when we had an upset man come up and talk with
us. He was telling us how our images don't work and what we were doing
was pointless. A middle-aged woman walked by and said she'd had two
abortions in her lifetime. She then said if she would have seen the
victim imagery beforehand, she could not have gone through with them.
The man we were talking with stood there fuming, he couldn't think of
anything to respond with. —Ian
I
had the opportunity to meet a man who had lost three of his children to
abortion. He had not noticed the sign for a while and then when he did
he asked if that is what it actually looked like. I told him, "Yes," and
he stood there in complete shock. I wish I could capture his face . . .
His children did not die looking like a normal baby. They died ripped
apart into many different pieces. This man was shown the truth by our
efforts. —Megan
