LIFE RUNNERS - RUNNING FOR MARY'S SHELTER
We
have an exciting fundraiser to tell you about. On March 14th, a team
of friends of Mary's Shelter will be participating in the "A Cross
America Relay" to raise awareness and donations for pro life
ministries. This team has been organized by Chad Finch, to "adopt"
portions of this race to benefit Mary's Shelter. Our very own Board of
Director's member, Mark Ivory, will also be joining in this event along
with runner Howard Thomas. These athlete's will be running on the
C&O Canal Path in Hancock, Maryland and will, as a team, complete
multiple, consecutive legs of the race, totaling just about the length
of a marathon. Talk about walking the walk, or in this case, running
the run!
There
are many ways you can participate in this event. If you feel called to
donate to support this team and ministry, please go to our website, www.marysshelterva.org and
sign up to make a donation. All proceeds of this race will go directly
to helping women and children in need. Your support would definitely
be an encouragement to these runners, as well as a great benefit to this
